Protocol for applying false UV gel nails with French (Monophase)
Step 1: Nail Preparation
This step is essential to ensure the capsules and UV gel hold their shape properly.
Before any manicure, your nails and hands must be clean, disinfected, and dry. You must also remove all traces of nail polish.
1a. Disinfect your hands and push back your cuticles. Using the cuticle pusher stick, gently push the cuticles towards the skin to widen the nail bed.
Tips: Remove any dead skin on the surface of the nail. Otherwise, the gel may not adhere properly to oily surfaces such as skin.
1b. Using the buffer block, gently file until the natural shine of the nail disappears.
Tips: Do not file excessively to avoid damaging the nail.
1c. Dust nails with a manicure brush or makeup brush (e.g., clean blush brush).
1d. Degrease the nails with cellulose cotton soaked in cleaner.
Step 2: Installing the capsules
This step is optional if you do not want to extend your natural nails or if you are using templates.
2a. Choose tips that fit the size of your natural nails.
Tips: If none of the sizes fit your nails, choose a larger tip and file it to fit your nail. If the tip is too small, it won't fit.
2b. Apply glue to the notch of the capsule, then stick the capsule on the tip of your natural nail, maintaining pressure for 7 seconds.
Tips: There should be no bubbles between the natural nail and the tip. If there are any bubbles, or if the tip is loose, use a tip remover to remove it and start the application again.
2c. Cut the capsule to the desired length with the guillotine pliers.
2d. File the demarcation with the 180/100 banana file so that it blends in with the natural nail.
Tips: Avoid filing your natural nail. This step is essential to remove the demarcation between the nail and the capsule, and to prevent the capsule from being visible once the gel is applied.
2nd. Correct any imperfections caused by filing using the polishing block.
2f. Dust nails with a manicure brush or makeup brush (e.g., clean blush brush).
2g. Apply a thin layer of primer to the natural nail and let it air dry.
Tips: The primer prepares the surface of the nail, allowing it to optimize the adhesion of products and extend the duration of your manicure.
Step 3: Applying the base gel
3a. Using a brush with a small amount of single-phase gel, apply a thin layer of gel like a varnish over the entire surface of the nail (including the capsule).
Tips: For perfect adhesion of the gel, it is necessary to apply it well over the entire surface of the nail (capsule included) and especially on the sides. Be careful, the Gel must not overflow onto the skin. If this is the case, remove it using a stick or a brush. Tips: Apply the gel by pressing the brush against the nail as if you wanted to penetrate the gel.
3b. Catalyze (Dry the gel) 2 to 3 minutes under the UV lamp or 60 seconds under LED (if LED gel) Tips: This layer of gel is very thin, you can apply it to all the nails of the same hand before passing it under the UV or LED lamp.
Tip: If there is still a layer of gel that hasn't hardened and is sticky, this is completely normal. Continue applying the gel without removing it.
Step 4: Applying the Camouflage Gel (Optional if applying colored gel)
4a. Apply a layer of camouflage gel over the entire surface of the nail.
4b. Catalyze (Dry the gel) 2 minutes under the UV lamp or 60 seconds under the LED lamp (if LED gel) If necessary, apply a second layer of camouflage UV gel.
Tips: You can cure each nail under the lamp for a few seconds between each application to set the gel. Once the entire hand is done, cure for 2 minutes under the UV lamp or 60 seconds under LED (if LED gel). For your application to last, do NOT degrease or touch the sticky gel film that has not hardened.
Step 5: Applying the French Manicure (Optional if applying colored gel)
5a. Apply the white French Gel to the edge of the nail in the desired shape using the brush.
Tips: To prevent the gel from running, catalyze each finger for 5 seconds.
5b. After having done all the fingers, pass the hand for 2 minutes under the UV lamp or 60 seconds under the LED lamp (if LED gel)
Step 6: Applying UV/LED Gel for Construction
6a. Apply a generous amount of Builder Gel to the brush. Apply the Gel to the entire nail surface, which will become smooth after a few seconds as it is a self-leveling Gel.
Tips: The gel should be applied to the middle of the nail, from the cuticles (without touching them) to the tip of the nail. Place the brush on the top of the nail (cuticle side), spread the gel to the right, stopping just before the skin, then go down to the tip of the nail. Proceed in the same way on the other side.
Tips: The brush should not press the gel, but should only glide smoothly over its surface. To do this, hold the brush parallel to the nail.
The bulge
You need to create the crown of the nail, meaning the stress area (where the tip is glued) will have a thicker layer of gel. This will create the crown.
6b. Place a small ball of gel on the brush and then place it on the spot chosen to be the top of the curve.
6c. Wait a few seconds for the gel ball to settle.
6d. Check the appearance of the nail. When the gel forms a curve and no longer a ball, place your hand in front of the lamp for 15 seconds, then 10 seconds under the lamp (20 seconds for the thumbs).
6th. Repeat these 3 steps on each finger.
6f. Cure for 2 minutes under a UV lamp or 60 seconds under an LED (if LED gel)
Tips: The gel should not touch the skin. If gel gets on the skin, use the rosewood stick to remove it. There should be a thin layer of gel that has not hardened.
6g. Degrease (remove the layer of gel that has not hardened) with a cellulose cotton pad soaked in cleaner.
6 a.m. File with a 180 file to smooth the gel and remove any bumps. This step allows you to shape the nail and remove any irregularities.
6i. Use the buffer block to remove roughness and ridges from filing, only on the front and side of the nails.
6 days. Dust with a manicure brush.
Step 7: Applying Colored Gel (If applying colored gel instead of a French manicure)
7a. Apply a first thin layer of colored gel then catalyze for 2 minutes under the UV lamp or 60 seconds under the LED lamp (if LED gel) Do not degrease the sticky layer.
7b. Apply a second thin layer of colored gel then cure for 2 minutes under a UV lamp or 60 seconds under an LED lamp (if LED gel). Do not degrease the sticky layer.
Step 8: Applying the Finishing Gel
8a. Apply the Monophase Gel in a thin layer using the brush and wait until the surface is completely smooth. Tips: Do not press the brush but let it glide without pressure on the surface of the nail. The layer should be thin but smooth.
8b. Place your finger in front of the lamp for 5 seconds and then under the lamp for 15 seconds.
8c. Repeat these 2 steps on each finger.
8d. Place your hand in front of the lamp for 5 seconds, then under the UV lamp for 2 minutes or under the LED lamp for 60 seconds (if LED gel is used).
8th. Wipe the nail with a cellulose cotton pad soaked in cleaner.
8f. For a shinier finish, you can apply a thin layer of UV Top Coat that you will catalyze for 2 minutes under the UV lamp or 60 seconds under LED (if LED gel) Do not degrease with the cleaner.
8g. Clean your hands.
Tips: For a perfect finish, apply a little nourishing cuticle oil to the contours of the nail and gently massage the cuticles with circular motions.
Caution: Do not leave open gel pots or brushes under UV/LED lamps or sunlight, as this will render them unusable.

Protocol for applying false acrylic nails
Step 1: Nail Preparation
This step is essential to prevent the resin from peeling off.
- Clean your hands, then disinfect them with hand sanitizer.
- Remove all traces of nail polish using nail polish remover.
- Push back the cuticles using a cuticle pusher.
- File the surface of the nail vertically with a file to create better grip.
- Dust off your nail.
Step 2: Choice of Capsules or Stencils - Installation of capsules
- Choose the capsules according to the size of your natural nail.
- Apply glue to the edge of the capsule, then place the capsule in place, maintaining pressure for 7 seconds.
- Shorten the capsule to the desired size using the guillotine pliers.
- File the demarcation with a 100/180 file so that it blends in with the natural nail.
- Remove roughness using the polishing block.
- Dust off nails using a dusting brush.
Apply primer to the entire surface of the nail, including the tip, avoiding the skin and cuticles. Allow to air dry. - Laying the templates
- Apply primer to the entire surface of your natural nail, avoiding the skin and cuticles. Allow to air dry.
- Remove the center of the stencil and then stick it under the graduated part of the stencil.
- Separate the legs from the pre-cut template.
- Glue the paws onto the finger (above the cuticles).
- Shape the rounded part of the template and secure it by gluing the lower part of the template.
Step 3: Shaping the resin nails
- Add a little monomer liquid to the mixing glass.
- Dip the tip of the brush into the liquid, then wring it lightly on the rim of the glass.
- Place the brush vertically in the white powder (a pearl will form at the end of the brush, it must be large enough to cover the entire edge of the nail).
d. Place the pearl on the tip of your nail and then start shaping it:
- Flatten the pearl by holding the brush horizontally
- Smooth the ball on each side
- Then draw the shape of the French you want by gently pushing the resin which is hardening (be careful, after 2 minutes the resin will have hardened)
Application of the pink resin in 3 steps
- Add a little monomer liquid to the mixing glass.
- Dip the tip of the brush into the liquid, then wring it lightly on the rim of the glass.
- First pearl:
This pearl must be smaller than the first white pearl
Place the pearl on the center of the nail then start shaping:
- Let the bead flow while counting to 3
- Smooth the pearl on each side and then smooth the center of the pearl, as if it were a varnish.
- Second pearl:
Place the brush vertically in the pink powder (a pearl will form at the end of the brush)
This bead must be smaller than the first pink bead
Place the bead on the cuticle side of the nail, taking care not to touch the cuticles, then start shaping:
- Let the bead flow while counting to 3
- Flatten the pearl with a brush held horizontally.
- Third pearl:
This bead should be the same size as the second pink bead
Place the pearl on the center of the nail between the 2nd and 3rd pearl
Start shaping:
- Let the bead flow while counting to 3
- Flatten the pearl with a brush held horizontally.
- File the surface of the nail using a file
- For the sides, use a 180 grit file (the finest)
- For the tips, use a 180 grit file (the finest) and file the tip of the free edge to the desired shape.
- For the cuticle and contour area, use the 100 grit file (the largest) and file in diagonal motions until you get a uniform surface. File the edge closest to the cuticles carefully, making sure there is a small margin between the cuticle and the acrylic.
Step 4: Finishing
- Apply a thin layer of Top Coat to the nail and let it air dry.
- Apply a drop of cuticle oil to the cuticles and massage.
- Wash your hands.
Protocol for applying false nails for semi-permanent varnish
Step 1: Nail Preparation
Before any work, nails must be clean and dry, carefully remove all traces of varnish.
1a. Disinfect your hands and push back your cuticles using the previously disinfected cuticle pusher to expose as much of the nail bed as possible.
Tips: Small dead skins on the surface of the nail must be removed, the semi-permanent varnish cannot adhere properly to an oily surface like the skin.
1b. File natural nails with the 100/180 file.
Tips: Use the finest 180 grit, do not file the natural nail too much as this may damage it.
1c. Dust nails with a manicure brush or makeup brush.
1d. Degrease the nails with cellulose cotton soaked in cleaner.
1st. Apply a thin layer of primer to the natural nail and let it air dry.
Tips: The primer is a penetrating antiseptic that prepares the nail so that it is in optimal condition to ensure good adhesion of the products.
Step 2: Laying the Base
2a. Apply a layer of TwinCoat Base & Top Coat to the nail without touching the skin. Then cure (harden) for 2 minutes under a UV lamp or 60 seconds under an LED lamp.
Tips: There remains a sticky layer of semi-permanent varnish, do not remove it, it will allow the other layers of semi-permanent varnish to adhere well
Step 3: Applying the Colored Semi-Permanent Varnish
3a. Apply a first thin layer of Colored Semi-Permanent Varnish without touching the cuticles and finishing by drawing a horizontal line at the tip of the nail. Cure for 2 minutes under a UV lamp or 60 seconds under an LED lamp.
3b. Apply a second coat of Colored Semi-Permanent Varnish without touching the cuticles and finishing with a horizontal line at the tip of the nail. Cure for 2 minutes under a UV lamp or 60 seconds under a lamp.
LED.
Tips: You can apply the Semi-Permanent Varnish on all fingers by putting each finger under the UV or LED lamp for a few seconds to fix the Varnish. Then catalyze all fingers for 2 minutes under the UV lamp or 60 seconds under the LED lamp. (There is a sticky layer of varnish left, do not remove it, it will allow the other layers of varnish to adhere well)
Step 4: Applying the Finish
4a. Apply a coat of TwinCoat Base & Top Coat to the nail without touching the skin. Then cure for 2 minutes under a UV lamp or 60 seconds under an LED lamp.
4b. A sticky layer remains, remove it with a cotton ball soaked in cleaner.
4c. To finish your application, you can apply a little cuticle oil to your cuticles and massage gently.
Removal:
File the top coat. Soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover and place it on the nail, then wrap it in aluminum foil. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and remove the remaining polish with a cuticle pusher. Finish the removal by buffing it with a buffer.
