PROTOCOL for the Semi-Permanent Polish KIT ref 1638

  1. Hand washing:
    Wash your hands thoroughly with soap to remove any oil or dirt residue, then disinfect them.
  1. Nail preparation:
  • Remove any existing polish using nail polish remover.
  • Cut and file your nails into the desired shape.
  • Gently push back the cuticles using a cuticle stick or a pre-disinfected metal cuticle pusher.
Tips: The small dead skin cells on the nail surface must be removed, as the gel cannot adhere properly to an oily surface like skin.
  1. Filing:
  • Gently file the surface of your nails using a nail file without pressing too hard to mattify the nail and create a more adhesive surface without damaging the nail.
  1. Dusting:
  • Use a nail brush and a cotton pad soaked in cleaner to remove dust from the nails and degrease the nail.
  1. Application of Nail Prep and Acid-Free Primer:
  • Apply a thin layer of Nail Prep without touching the skin and leave to air dry.
  • Apply a thin layer of Acid-Free Primer without touching the cuticles and leave to air dry.
  1. Application of Lollibond Semi-Permanent Polish Base:
  • Apply a thin layer of Lollibond Base to each nail, avoiding the cuticles.
  • Cure for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.
Tips: A sticky layer of semi-permanent polish remains; do not remove it, as it will allow the other layers of semi-permanent polish to adhere properly.
  1. Application of semi-permanent polish:
  • Apply a thin layer of Lollilac semi-permanent polish in the color of your choice to each nail.
  • Avoid touching the skin or cuticles.
  • Cure for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp, or 60 seconds for dark colors.
  1. Second coat of polish:
  • Apply a second coat of semi-permanent polish for a more intense color and better coverage.
  • Cure for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp, or 60 seconds for dark colors.
  1. Application of Mirror Finish Top Coat:
  • Apply a layer of Finish Top Coat to give a brilliant shine and protect your color.
  • Cure for 60 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.
  1. Final cleaning:
  • Our Mirror Top Coat does not have a sticky layer, so it does not need to be degreased. However, if you use another finish, such as our Satin Top Coat, remove the sticky layer using a cotton pad soaked in cleaner to reveal a perfect manicure.
  1. Hydration:
  • Finish by applying a cuticle oil to nourish your nails and cuticles.

Additional tips:
  • Do not open your polish, base, or top coat in sunlight or in front of a turned-on UV/LED lamp, as this may cause them to harden in the bottle.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals on your nails to prolong the wear of the polish.
