🚫 New TPO Regulation – Effective September 1, 2025

Nouvelle-Réglementation-sur-le-TPO-À-partir-du-1er-septembre-2025 OCIBEL

Dear customers,

As of September 1, 2025, Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO) — diphenyl trimethylbenzoyl phosphine oxide — will be strictly prohibited in cosmetic products, following the European Omnibus VII regulation and confirmed by a legislative text: https://www.economie.gouv.fr/dgccrf/actualites/produits-cosmetiques-compter-du-1er-septembre-2025-loxyde-de-diphenyl?utm_source=chatgpt.com

✅ Status of our ranges

👉 All our products are now guaranteed to be TPO-free, except for three lines at the end of their life cycle:

  • Perfect Gels

  • Jelly Gels

  • 3715 and 3716 Fibered Rubber Base

These ranges are currently being reformulated. In fact, a brand new version will be arriving very soon, also compliant with the regulations and HEMA-free

📅 What the law provides

According to the DGCCRF:

  • Ban on placing on the market or making available, including to professionals, from September 1, 2025.

  • Ban on use by professionals (nail salons, beauty salons, etc.) — no sell-through period is provided

  • Private individuals can continue to use the products they already own, for personal use only.

👉 Remember to plan ahead: finish selling current products and switch to our TPO-free alternatives now.

Cosmetic products: as of September 1, 2025, diphenyl trimethylbenzoyl phosphine oxide (TPO) will be prohibited

Why do we still sell products with TPO on the website?

Because the ban only applies to Europe.
We have customers all over the world and the ban does not apply.

If you have any further questions, our customer service team is at your disposal.
Thank you for your trust,
